I was geniunly bummed out when:

- Jones destroyed Shogun.
- Jones put Machida to sleep.
- Anderson got KO'd. I'm not that big of an Anderson fan, but to see somebody that great lose like that, it was pretty saddening.
- Cain putting on a clinic on JDS.

This is what I remember of recent.

nah. ufc underpays fighters and is trying to monopolize the sport :pacspit:

:camby:

The UFC absorbing these leagues allowed the fans to see more of the best fighters face off against each other.

WEC: This one I could understand. Keeping it a separate league would've been a decent idea.
Pride: Pride was close to it's deathbed and the UFC/Zuffa came along and scooped up their talent. I don't see how any MMA fan could dislike this move.
Strikeforce: Strikeforce had 2-4 really good fighters per division. More than 1-2 contenders per division were non-existent, except for the HW division. I guess you really enjoyed Jacare face the likes of Derek Brunson and Bristol Marunde. Once Jacare had faced Rockhold and Kennedy, he had pretty much no one left to face.
