You wildin bro smh

NYers been moving down south when they get older for 4ever. Especially places like Va,
It's just been a trend in the last 10yrs for younger NYers to move away earlier.
Cause other places seem more popping now
I don't think it's because other cities are more poppin, it's because other cities are simply more affordable to live in:pachaha:

How was the transition, quality of life, pay, entertainment and bang for your buck?

Tired of renting, looking for parking/moving cars. Ready to have a family and don't want to raise them here.

Top of my list is Atlanta. I went to school there so I know the deal. Charlotte is on my list as well as the DMV area and Houston. My girl is infatuated with DC, but it seems like the job market is strictly Government Jobs. She works in the media so her options a little more limited than me at the moment.

I'd go with the DMV to be honest breh

Plenty of people on here left Harlem for Atlanta, so you not alone in the line of thinking.
Hilarious but Ironically I'm from Brooklyn and notice more Harlem behavior that reminds me of Atlanta more in Harlem than any other black neighborhoods in NY.

Yea Atl is the way it is, but the ratio is like 6-1. I'm in a relationship so I'm not on that type of time but if you are a single man in the A who's decent you can have the pick of your liter. It's a shame that the blackest and most prominent city has that reputation though.

I moved from Canarsie Brooklyn to a surbub outside of Tampa. I wouldn't suggest Florida as I remember OP saying he has a sweating problem (not trying to clown, I do to), the heat and humidity in this state is :scust:

Also if you move to any city south of DC, make sure you have a CAR. The public transit in most of these southern cities is trash. A North Carolina poster on here told me that jobs won't hire you in that state if you don't have a car.

I will say the apartments in Florida are nicer than the apartments in tenement buildings in NYC, my new apartment has central A/C so no need for window A/C units like in NY.
Yea I was considering Ft. Lauderdale. I know I'm a heavy sweater but I know I won't be walking much and will def get a car.

How often did you move around breh?
man my dad was just never satisified with his job. And he wasn't afraid of relocating for work. so every few years he'd find a new job somewhere and we'd be off. Still does it today, if i was living with my parents i'd still be moving around. been pretty much everywhere but most of my life was in ohio
