well i know about the basic fundemental and the advance stuff like frame traps zoning option select untechable knockdowns safe jumps p-linking link combos vortexs pokes footsies etc

it depends on the character and what u having problems with in regards to street fighter 4 ae.

What's the advantages to training from you compared to someone just going on to the SRK forums and learning from there?

SRK has alot of theory and not alot of practice....the best shyt to do is to just play people and hear what they say...fighting games (besides movelists) aren't something imo that you can just wiki and all of a sudden know it...its all about timing and mental chess.

Kahlil is one of the best cats i have ever played from even back on :hamster: and i could get at him a few times but that's only because of learning his habits and multiple fights...

nothing replaces just accepting that you will get your ass wooped. But SF is much more fun online to me the Tekken...and lastly don't be afraid to try EVERY fighter and learn what style suits you...don't get caught up in that tier list bullshyt. In vanilla SF4 Vega (claw) was damn near basement tier and my online record was better in that than it was before they made his pokes stronger and gave him more health.

I agree with you, my last post was just a shytty way of trying to fukk with him. The only way to know how to win is to lose, I used to play fighters but
I have too short of an attention span to learn BnB's, I don't like the 3d/8-way run fighters like Tekken and SC. I'd rather prefer to play KoF but if I can't even take the time to learn SF then there's no way in hell I'd get anywhere in KoF.

srk is more of a meeting ground then anything else it's better to just go to youtube watch tutorials learn the definitions of the terminology in the game and enter tournaments and pratice and learn that or find somebody like me that plays more offline and in tournaments then somebody who only plays online and think because they b + or higher rating on xbox live they somehow good.

there are some BnB's you will have to learn in order to be compeditive and beat anyone worth their salt. But its really all about being creative....you can win majority of your matches in SF without landing one combo depending on who you main.

well besides from the fact that most of those kids on srk forums only play online and they online warriors hence why they on the net instead of playing offline with no lag and entering tournaments. none of them focus on the basic fundementals like blocking zoning footsies throws and basic combos they focus only on the advance like option selects etc.
to me you have to learn the fundenmentals first then the advance stuff later

in other words u have to learn how to crawl before u walk and also they have no experience in tournaments and playing offline with no lag.

exactly as long u know a few bnb's and have the basic fundementals down u can win tournaments and offline.

I just got spoiled by FPS games, I'm able to just hop on from game to game with good reflexes and coordination and do good. Not like that with fighters.

totally different skill set, you can twitch move all you want in fighters all you are gonna do is whiff moves and get punished.
