Yeah Maybe 5-8 years ago, but the problem is that after wow no MMO has really captured that magic into a paid system.

DOTA 2 is a different beast that only someone like Valve can pull off. LoL is another exception

Long as a MMO remains solid it can remain online and make the developers profit, I know Dc Universe Online and FFXIV are both doing well. The One that sticks out the most is ffxi being around 12 years give or take is still a p2p game with a base of around 300k players. @Liquid hows Destiny been looking, I need something new mess with for awhile bro.

That newdbz game, xenoverse seems to be taking elements from dbo. Yet to be said if there will be an online portion yet tho.
