plenty of times. about 6, believe. always a good idea to have a job lined up or transfer but i've just moved everything and started exploring until i found out exactly where i wanted to go. you can pretty much do anything you want if you've got enough money saved, obviously. one time i packed up everything and moved to NC. stayed with a friend and explored other cities until i found one that i wanted to live in.
