Any of y'all ever taken a hiatus from watching pro wrestling? How long was it? Why did you take it? When and why did you come back?

Yep from about 03 to 05.One night Stand brought me back in.(Still watched Wrestlemanias though,i will be watching them every year until i die so not sure if that counts)

2006-2011. I pretty much started watching again cause I heard D-Bryan was debuting on NXT. No other reason.

Didn't have Sky so couldn't get Raw or PPV's, then it just became doing other things and enjoying my teenage years

I watched the Rumble and Mania some years and kept up to date with things on but I don't think I watched a show or PPV that wasn't one of those two during that time

I recently got back into watching wrestling late 2011 just because of how funny the TSC is during Monday Night Raw and I watch it for different reasons now

To answer the question, I stopped watching it in 1999 once I got in the 8th grade and would only occasionally watch it over the years.

Would y'all say you were able to be more productive with your time when you stopped watching it?

BTW, I stopped watching probably around Fall 2002 and I'm not sure when exactly I got back in. I may stop for now and come back 1 week before Wrestlemania. It'll give me a good 40 days of no WWE, TNA, ROH, Dragon Gate, etc.

I had lost interest and stopped watching sometime in 2008 or 9, nobody I knew was watching anymore and I like wrestling when I have friends to discuss it with.

Then in 2010 me and my team were at Miami Supercon where we had a booth and they had indie wrestling there. Not only did it remind me of why I loved wrestling so much, but my friend who always thought it was bullshyt gained a newfound appreciation for it.

I was losing interest again as the fukkery era dragged on and the creative team kept flushing everything they had down the toilet in favor of johnboy but then I stumbled across The-Coli and this community really does make wrestling a lot more entertaining.

Now, I feel good about the future Pro Wrestling but I fear that it's just because of Mania season and that these dumb fukks at the E' will totally drop the ball again.

I don't remember the date exactly but I do know I missed SES Punk, Sheamus' debut, Nexus and a bunch of other stuff. I came back when a few weeks before Cena and Miz had their match at Wrestlemania.

I do regret missing SES Punk but fortunately I've watched all of it now along with all the good matches from the era I missed.

Idk what Mania it was, but I invited a few friends and my cousin over to watch Wrestlemania and none of them showed up. That was the moment where I took my first hiatus.
