Going to the toughest high school in the county, and not living around most of the students, made every day feel like I might get in a fight. I guess that answers the question. But even with that going on, in my senior year I was pimping the hallways like George Jefferson moving on up. Those were the rules...lol. Even had a shorty, but she got expelled before the second semester. Come to think of it, I almost did too later that year, for cussing out this White female teacher. But I didn't use any curse words. I did get a one day suspension, and that was the only time I got in real trouble. Before that, I thought you could only get suspended for fighting.
I couldn't tell then, but I don't think that principal who suspended me liked me very much, especially after threatening to expel me if I got in trouble again, which meant I wouldn't have been able to walk the stage. The only incident I had before that, was when I almost got into it with this brother, who kept pressing my nerves. He wanted to suspend me for one day just for that, and that never even lead to a fight. That's how I know a lot of White people working in these schools don't have our backs, and they be trying to build a record on you. Some of those White male teachers didn't like me too much either, and they'd be the least ones I suspected. I always heard that teachers talked real bad about the students with other teachers after school. I could sense that later on.
When I did visit my high school a year later, during their lunch break, I got kicked out. When I visited again the following year, I got kicked out again, and this was right after the bell, when school was letting out. But I did manage to get the number of this cute girl who ran track, while she was on her way to her school bus. This was her senior year, and it was only about a month left of school. I think it was that same White security officer who through me out the year before. I don't remember anybody going to that high school before me, including my siblings, being ask to leave while visiting. Maybe it was because I was alone. But I wasn't really alone, because I was too busy shaking everybodies hand like I was a star...lol, especially during that first visit. I was pretty good in basketball, although I never went out for the team.

The only thing I miss about high school is realizing all the signs and hints that one girl gave and never noticed till years later.
