I have a synth and a keyboard too. I actually sit down and open up music books and play songs. That'll be my day, just chill and play music all day.

As long as you play the more instruments you have you just get more variety.

I have one that's always readily available so I'll play that one everyday even if it's only 5 minutes. When I have time to sit down and play I'll have 2 or 3 out and I'll play one, then put it down, pick up another, play it until I get bored or stuck.

I practice songs, scales, techniques, so I'll do it on one, get the feel, practice until proficient then swap guitars and do it again. They all have a different sound, different feel. It's nice to have that variety because rather than getting burned out or stuck and just putting it down, I can rotate through and play for 2+ hours. But at the same time if I only had one and I put all my time and effort into that one id probably be a damn master.
