Any of yall shop at thrift stores?

I still go, but I don't expect to find hidden treasures or anything. I think those days are over...

DVDs and VHS tapes are fun to sort through. I like finding old martial arts movies, picked up a set of ten Jackie Chan movies the other day which I'm sure have the cheesy poorly dubbed voiceovers I've grown to love.

Got this for $8. Bout to see if I can sell it on FB Marketplace for $30-$35. Seems like it’s $40ish on eBay on a good day. Job moved me to an area about an hour away so had to hit up a Goodwill and Salvation Army on my break.

I go every weekend to the thrift store to source books/games to sell online. Stay finding shyt to flip online through Amazon FBA or Ebay. Found some old games that were good flips. The best flip I've had was some sealed Wii game I bought for like $10 and flipped for like $70 online. Nothing wrong with thrift stores if you know what to look for.

Gnna go in and pick some Dreamcast stuff up when I get the chance and start trying to find some deals on retro games

Yup, I mainly do books and some games. Games are a bit harder since you're restricted from selling certain publisher games like Sony/Nintendo/MSFT but some third parties go through. I buy em from the store using software like Scoutiq to see which books are profitable using a scanner, get home and label them and ship em off and Amazon handles the rest.

It's a great side hustle as you'd be surprised at the games that will sell.

Already sold the book(went yesterday) for $45

Titanic Lego set thing like $30-35, mouse thing like $25-30, tubing like $20-25 not a bad day honestly.

If u want higher end designer clothes ie Brunello Cucinelli, Tod loafers consignment shops in the wealthy areas of your town are the spots to hit.

My nephew is into preppier dress even though he has to dress like that for school so I hit up the cosigment shop where a friend works she calls when something he wants comes in or hit up Nordstroms rack.


I do hit thrift stores for old Ebony and Jet magazines.

One thing I dislike is nikkas be stealing from the games that are out on the shelves at this one thrift store I go to. I saw Animal Crossing for the Wii and was like nice, it was only $4. I get home and take another look at the disc and that shyt said Mysims Party.

I still ended up selling the case alone for Animal Crossing for $10 a couple days later though.

.. Mad descriptive breh. I rock hospital level gloves and give em a quick but gentle wipe down via Lysol wipes at the crib. Hopefully I persevere history for my future seeds. I'm doing this for my nephews also. They are always asking my folks and their great grandparents my grandparents questions. I always wanted to know where do we come from. So I would ask my great grandparents my grand pa's parents whom are now gone .


We have our family history on both Ma Dukes and Pops side documented with land that my fam share cropped we now turn a profit via renting out.
