Im looking for something strictly for work purposes (I dont care how it looks).
I like Hatches because they are practical, good for city driving and can carry a lot of shyt (my girl is also going to use it when she has a wedding to shoot, and she likes small cars).

So far it seems like the Honda Fit & 2013 Focus are favorites in this class.
Im paying straight cash....so something in that 10K range is perfect.

Thoughts?

I have a hatchback. I get to put big, thick packages through the back door. Ha ha. but seriously, I can put the rear seats down and transport large items that I couldn't in a sedan.
It's a Mazda and has been running pretty good for years.

There's a guy at my apartment complex that drives a silver hatchback Impreza (not even a WRX or STI) and it just looks clean.

:whew:

Do you want four or two doors?

Since you're thinking about a small car I think anyone who has any sense will first suggest a Volkswagen Golf. The Golf has a long history and people love them. I'm sure you can find a use one for around 10k.

Also might want to consider Subaru Impreza like someone else mentioned.

Ive driven a Audi wagon (and Mazda3)...no doubt its nice. But im just looking for something to work in.

Im actually looking at a Scion XB now. They have a really high reliability rating, good gas mileage, a lot of space and I can get em crazy cheap.

Have a GTI right now.

Used to have an S6, Allroad, and A6.

Also had an Outback at one point.

Think that's all.

I've driven a few A3's.

Love em'.

If you were in NY I'd cut you a deal on my GTI if you were interested.
