Any one heard of or seen the movie "The Message"?

Someone recommended it to me recently. I will probably watch it sometime next week. Its about the prophet Mohammed and the Islamic faith. Its a 70's flick with Anthony Quinn.

I just watched it this summer for a world history assignment. It's on vimeo. I dont practice Islam but it is very informative and clears up some of the stigma associated with it.

Yeah, Islam has a bad rep in the Western World, people should study it a little more before they go bashing it. I'm interested in watching this, get to know the whole story.

What is vimeo by the way? I copped it on Amazon on DVD. Should arrive some time next week...

Im not sure EXACTLY what it is but it has something to do with video. The youtube link the teacher gave us didnt work so i googled it and it popped up on vimeo

I just watched it today. It was interesting. The fact that they never showed the main character of the story throughout the whole movie was even more interesting. Since its sacrilegious to show any images of the prophet Mohammed they never showed him. They had people talk into the camera as if they were talking to him or showed his voice but never an image of him.

All in all, it was a pretty good flick.

I don't think so, read and viewed from documentaries etc.
