im a rebel man....im every other creative worse nightmare..no fake handshakes and small is coming from here ...i hate that networking shyt...im a competitor...i want your head more than your friend

- If you getting your book published u gotta be patient. She been writing the book for like 2 years. Then she finally found an editor and they go back and fourth on the phone about dumb shyt. She can't just be like "fukk what u talmbout I'm writing whatever" cuz this her first book she aint established like that. So you gotta be able to humble yourself.

And I said be patient because she was wiring ti for 2 years, she sent me the pdf like 3 months ago, and the book aint getting released till october 2017. Idk much about allat but i was like u can't just release the shyt now? Id want my book out asap but i guess theres a lot of legal shyt.


- If you tryna be a legitimate author you gonna have to network in real life. Like aint no way around it. Some folks gonna be fake and allat. I went to some book conventions wit some authors and I had got to meet other authors they know who are on like there 4th books. They was asking me where I was from, what school i went to, etc and general conversation and I was just sitting there like " dont be asking me this shyt unless you really care. I aint hear to make fake friends. But if u really care shyt lets talk" And i aint finna be ya token nikka that reads book that u can parade around and shyt.

- If you just tryna get your thoughts out and not go thru all that you can easily just create blogs or post em on thecoli and become an internet sensation or sum. You aint gotta publish legitimate books you'll find in barnes and noble.


And yea..shyt idk. Im just speaking from what I see from the outside. I've never written a book so idk exactly how allat works.

Life aint a movie. U can't just say fukk the networking shyt and become the next j.k rowling or sum shyt.

Edit: And as everyone else said read other peoples books. Every author Ive met read all their friends books and shyt. Ive read so many books it makes me feel like I can write one lol.

- If you've got ideas on the fly that you wanna explore later, jot them shyts down or put them somewhere on your phone for later use.
- Take SOME kind of break in between writing and don't force it. That speeds up burnout and just causes dissatisfaction with your work.
- "Less is more" and "Show, don't tell" will become your friends when it comes to exposition
