I love running it’s easy and mindless, but with the start of the new year, I need to throw some resistance training in with limited time for at home work outs. Any of you guys had success with resistance bands?

If so, what type of workouts have you been doing ?

You can probably target any muscle group with the exception of maybe calves. I use them for biceps in between pushups or lateral raises. Since it's light, it requires more repetition but they're specifically for definition.

Yeah I’m just trying to tighten up and still keep doing cardio. Been dropping weight through running and diet, but now I need to take care of some the skinny fat I have in a limited amount of time with work and family.

With Chest, just do different variations of pushups. They also target triceps. Do planks for core with leg raises to target obliques. Do front, side and military press with the resistance bands to target the front, side and upper portion of the shoulders. Tie the middle portion of the bands around a door knob and extend back at the shoulders to target the upper back. Incorporate pullups in between for a full upper back workout. That's all I can think of so far. To have a complete core, lower back, obliques and abs are important though.

I know I should be doing a variety of push ups. My motivation is so low when it comes to them but fukk it. I think I’m gonna mix In push ups and get after it.

get bands from power lifter targeted sites

otherwise you are wasting your money

I got mine from elite ftiness

wide bands and the skinny ones

got a complete set years ago

When I was using them....I used the wide bands on push and pull calisthenics movements

I used them overseas. It depends on the thickness of the bands. I also used them on benchpresses.

I have also used inertia wave bands, helps with stability more than anything

i use them...resistance bands workouts are underrated. when i cut out lifting altogether for 2018...i was doing those to keep the tone...lowkey it also helped me in getting over the tendinitis i was dealing with in my arms and i didn't lose too much when i started lifting again in 2019

I have a red band (10-30 lb resistance) that I mostly use for upper body/shoulder warm up and it is just :ahh:

Perfect way to get primed for my lifts without getting fatigued. I also kinda use it when I want some extra burn isolating tri's/bi's/rear delts etc.
