Any swimmers here? Im thinking of taking lessons

Place near me got different packages. I don't know how to swim at all.


Thinking I do 5 1- Hour lessons for $325. I also want to be a strong swimmer.

Would 5 hours of lessons be good enough?

Learned when I was a kid at the local Y, was scary at 1st then I loved it. I got a few friends in the same boat, they never learned. Once you get the basics down, treading water, using your arms and feet together, practice as much as you can at your local facility.

Yeah there's a gym me with Olympic pools, gone check it out once I know the basics

I like swimming cause I can do cardio without running. Swimming is easy on the body low impact and a great workout

I would do 2 months two lessons a week.

5 hours ain't shyt and goes by incredibly fast. It's gonna take you a couple hours just to learn breathing techniques/breath control
