The wife and I have gone viral on IG and TT. Fitness content. Both videos reached 10m views. Its her page so I dont keep track

OP, This content doesnt work for TikTok unless you already established. Its too "slow" paced. If you going to take a crack at it you've gotta hook the wildest scenes to keep attention otherwise its going to get swiped in less than 2secs

For YT yeah. I'd say on for TT

For TT it has to start with the wildest scene or most eye-catching moments. TT doesn’t really do slow builds or downbeats. It’s all about quick dopamine, extreme takes, or something controversial right off the bat.

I’d recommend uploading the full short film to YT as longform, then cutting the most interesting parts into YT Shorts. Link the longform video in the short so if someone’s into it, they can click straight through and watch the full thing.
TT’s tough unless you’re grabbing people instantly. YT gives you more breathing room and a better shot at building a platform.
Definitely hit both platforms tho, but take the long game. Virality is difficult, but building a real community beats it every time.

Went viral multiple times. Consistent posting is the way. Cracked 1.8million then 400-500k on videos. Don't take it for granted and fall off on posting new vids you'll lose money.

Crosspost on multiple platforms. Sometimes tiktok shows way more love than Instagram sometimes YouTube shows more love

That’s true for the most part but long form content has definitely gone viral. That chick talking about “who did TF did I marry” got tens of millions of views and she literally had 40+ parts.

Use popular sounds (nothing beats a jet2 holiday, what the helly, all those slowed and reverb viral sounds) etc
