Any tips on being less of a sarcastic/snarky person?

I don't know. It seems that many people have interpreted me as being sarcastic in times when I wasn't even trying to be. I remember being on the phone with my mother a few weeks ago and she gave me a really stern talking-to about it. I was like Hell, not too long ago I even got a misunderstanding with the breh reyelectronica over a misunderstanding of words.

I just wanna know if it's too late to change the way I speak. Even when I think I turn it off, it seems that some radiation still leaks.

my problem is... when it comes to a social situation with someone I don't know, i usually won't say much until I get a sense of what they're like or if i get a good vibe from them ... people think I'm just being arrogant or shy or something though but I just don't fukk with everybody like that. and im not out here trying to be liked by everyone or like everyone because there are just too many people

Don't want to brag or really speak too much, but I've been told by many that I am; so I guess I already kind of am those things, and I don't hate it. It's just the way I learned to speak.

You have to be aware of your tone of voice and work to change it.

A lot of people say I sound like Darlene from Rosanne, down to her snarky remarks. When I'm in public situations I have to work to sound less sarcastic, even though it's my tone of voice and nothing more. I tend to unintentionally offend a lot of people.
