Have any of you ever had a dream within a dream. Like some inception type shyt? I had one recently. It dealt with an apocalyptic event. A series of events led to cities being engulfed in flames. I then had the same dream within the dream. The first dream was like a premonition. I told myself "deja vu". All I can remember before I woke up is "We're not going to make it."

Yeah I have definitely woke up from a dream and still been in anothrr dream. It even happens occasionally while I'm lucid dreaming, like I force myself to wake up cause I'm not liking the dream, but then I figure out I'm not actually awake. Sometimes the dreams overlap but sometimes they are completely unrelated.

As far as how to lucid dream, I'm not sure how to make it happen but it's definitely related to your brain still being active. I use to wake up during the night and fall back to sleep a lot and that's how it started for me.
If I think about something before sleep it will definitely be in my dream but it won't neccisarily be lucid

I've been having the same kind of dreams since I was a teen. Always in school but the school is like a mall or those gardens from final fantasy 8. I can also never find my car. The other dream is me always (once again) at some type of mall catching a movie.

I used to have this dream numerous times when I was like 4 , where I could see this spherical model of the Earth and I would constantly fall from the sky and somehow onto "the world". It's difficult to articulate. I would experience a falling sensation in my legs/lower body as it happened. :leostare: anyone experience something similair?

I also had a dream yesterday where I had a crush on this girl, fell in love and made out with her :yeshrug:
Then I woke up:aicmon:

I will try my best to put this into words, as this is one of the recurring dreams I can remember that I've had THROUGHOUT my life. As in, since I was a kid and until more recently a year and a half or so ago. (I'm 20)

So the dream goes like - I am trapped under something. I am seeing things from my POV, and I'm trapped under some sort of invisible weight and I can barely move. I am not sure what it is but I can determine that it is "invisible" because I could look up kinda, and it was open.

Now next to me, is this very strange looking creature that is trapped with me as well. It is like some sort of badger/cockroach/rat type of creature. It didn't look strange within the dream even though I would imagine it to look completely terrifying in real life. The thing squirms helplessly as it looks at me, and in a weird way I get the feeling that I may look like that too, in this dream. I'm not sure about this tho. Maybe I just feel as helpless and since I can't see myself I am projecting.

And then like clockwork, the dream always end like this - the creature stops squirming for a second and I can sense fear (or somthing similar) as it looks up, and I can suddenly look up clearly too, and the entire "place" we are in, which is best described as some sort of valley or a ditch, LIGHTS up. I am talking just blinding white light, as it consumes everything around us ... and you can FEEL something much more magnificent and greater than you opening itself above you - like an angel spreading its wings. It is formless, but you can see an epicenter from which the blinding white light emanates, and for a second you just feel so small and insignificant. It is an insane feeling of awe, fear, admiration, faith, dread and more emotions all rolled up into one. My heart races everytime this part happens and I wake up shortly after drenched in sweat.
