A nikka feeling real good right about now. Just got a text about an independent producer looking to option one of my screenplays. All of my hardwork the past 5 years has paid off for a Goon. I really would like to thank the coli for this also. Alot of you characters here helped me think from different perspectives. And overall this will just lead to more success for me. Any other writers in here??? lets break bread!!!

Here's some tips my breh
1. No matter how good you write it don't mean shyt without proper representation. Go out and find you an agent i did by this with tip #2
2.Join as many writing clubs you can and have as many nikkas read your work as possible you never know who knows who.

Nah i don't have a blog. I had a dude who wanted to publish some of my pieces in novel format...But i'm not a Novelist I love writing for film. Don't give up and pay attention to things like Dialogue and original concepts...

lol naw just got serious with it this year. Personally I would be just getting one of my stories published.

Although Screen writers make good money.

Congrats bruh, I know the feeling. I sold a screenplay to Universal in 07, they never did shyt with it but I got paid and in the end that's all a nikka cares about.

That's awesome, congrats breh. I'm a writer, just moved to North Hollywood last week to get into TV writing. I was a finalist last year for a TV writing program sponsored by Bill Cosby and held at USC. Made it to the interviews but wasn't selected. This year I applied for some others, including Warner Bros. Didn't get in but WB told me I made it to the top 5% out of 1,700 based on my script. Cuz of that they invited me and the other 5 percenters (lol) to a seminar on the WB lot later this month. I moved out here on a leap of faith so having that to go to later this month is a good look. I do standup too but haven't hit any open mics out here yet.
