:ohhh::wow: Shout out to Midwest breh @Buckeye Fever
Would have never happened if they never met Eazy:mjcry:

That was the absolute perfect person to sign them, then to have DJ Uneek be their main producer was :wow:

Bone HAD to go out to Cali. No record companies in the midwest that could do for Bone what Eazy did, and New York aint really like Bone like that.

I need an entire movie on this

Bone was doin real harmonizing aka no autotune.

When ppl say rappers today are good at melodies I laugh and ask "bytch, are you stupid??!!! Anybody can harmonize and be melodic with the help of autotune.":camby:

Let's hear an autotune song with the autotune effect taken off. I bet that shyt sound WACK AS fukk.

Y’all tripping. Bizzie slayed that dam verse.

Everything has the same reaction when they first hear that track.

Biggie’s verse: :takedat: I see my nikka done switched up the flow. I’m feeling it

Bizzie’s vers: :gladbron::whoo: I don’t know what this nikka saying but :damn:

Krazye’s verse: :ehh: Old School Bone. I can dig it

Lazy’s verse: Nobody has heard Lazy’s verse all the way through. They might as well just remove it from the track

Classic track

If you came up listening to Bone, you played their albums many many times so you get the timing of their flow and understand the lyrics. If you didn't, then you're gonna have trouble understanding Krayzie, Bizzy, and Flesh (post solo T.H.U.G.S. album). Layzie and Wish are pretty easy to understand. That being said, Big did not rap super fast on the song and he enunciates his words (that's a huge part of his flow), so you're gonna understand his verse more. With Bone, some of the members flow is more singy and based on the rhythm, which comes off as dope but then when doing that fast can be hard to understand for a casual fan who ain't into their stuff. It's no coincidence that when you hear them live, Wish is the best live performer, has the most powerful voice, and enunciates his words the clearest. His verse of Crossroads is the one EVERYBODY knows. He's also the worst one lyrically by a mile and has never come out with a solo album. That's why they work as a group.

This is part of the revisionist history the Coli tries to force. It really goes back to the Eminem hate on this site.

once Ems fast cadence began to get criticize as a gimmick and not a skill, folks begin reaching to lump others from the late 90s early 2000s into the “they rap fast but don’t say shyt” category. This ignores the innovation their flow cadence and melodies were at the time.

it wouldn’t surprise me if Busta was next or TechNine or even Twista.

y’all don’t listen to music, y’all just skim through it.

Bone Thugs are legends and this thread is disrespectful as fukk.

Bizzy is the only one I’ve never understood a lot of his verses. Krayzie I used to know all his shyt because he was and still is my fav from the group. Besides Bizzy I knew pretty much all their verses from the Creepin to BTNHRessurrection. I still say Wish could drop a DOPE solo album, everyone hates on him and says he’s wack but that’s only in comparison to having Kray and Bizzy in the group spazzing out all the time. As an MC Wish is ill IMO.
