Will Arsenic and Old Lace, With Sisters Debbie Allen and Phylicia Rashad, Play Broadway in 2015? | Playbill

Will Arsenic and Old Lace, With Sisters Debbie Allen and Phylicia Rashad, Play Broadway in 2015?

A revival of Joseph O. Kesselring's Arsenic and Old Lace, starring sisters Debbie Allen and Phylicia Rashad as the Brewster sisters at the comedy's core, is aiming to play Broadway in the 2015-16 season, Playbill.com has learned.

Allen sister excellence :salute:

their daughters tho :takedat: (both entertainers as well)

I saw Aida, Fela, Passing Strange and Hedwig and the Angry Inch, all really really good. Book of Mormon was just okay, I think I caught it too late after all the hoopla. Broadway isn’t cheap but it’s worth it. I still wanna see Hamilton.

In the past two years I've seen "Get on your feet" (Dope) "Lion King" , "Beetlejuice" (amazing better than the original) & yesterday night I saw "Tina" the Tina Turner musical which was damn near a mini concert itself.

Probably gonna see "Ain't to proud to beg" or "Sistas" next & "MJ" the Micheal Jackson story when it comes out this summer.

For my fellow nyc residents

www.broadwayforbrokepeople.com

Let’s you enter Broadway ticket lotteries. Won 7 of these this year and saw shows in the orchestra (some in the first and second rows) for $30-45 a ticket.

Also

www.luckyseat.com

Let’s you enter multiple lottery days for various shows during the week. Was able to take my niece to Frozen and because of this.

For those who are younger than 35

Manhattan Theatre Club – 30 Under 35

Get to see some amazing broadway and off broadway shows in great seats for $30 each.

For those who are under 40

Hiptix

More great shows for $30

I'm at the "Ain't to proud to beg" play right now during intermission.

This show has so much soul and truth.

MJ the Musical :whew: the 2nd half (act) was outstanding
They need to work on the energy of the first half though but overall it's definetly gonna be a hot ticket come Spring /Summer.
