Anybody been to jail/county?

The guards treated everybody cool. Most of them were black some Mexican and a few white. There were some a$$holes but they still treated you with respect. I think you're thinking about prison guards...those I do not know. Jail and prison is different. You got killers and rapist in prison.

The reason why some folks prefer prison over the county is amenities. In most county jails, you don't get rec. There's no GED program. There's nothing. You literally in that bytch sick ... just stuck. Facilities are terrible. Plumbing fukked up. Usually no on site medical professionals (mental/physical health). And that's usually because it's funded by the county, and it's not viewed as a priority...the county jails are really just a holding area until the disposition of your case. Whereas the state pumps big doe into the prisons, and there are much longer stays, so it's much more shyt to do and you get the best medical care.
With that said, it's a trade off if you had the opportunity to do your time in prison (occasionally on short sentences, if the jail is overcrowded, you'll get shipped to a nearby prison to do time), although there might be more to do, the inmates are usually more hardened. A lot of it also depends on whether you're in a minimum or max security prison.
However, don't sleep on county jails, especially those in bigger cities... LA County, NYC (Rikers), New Orleans, ATL, Essex County, etc. A fair chance of getting the top knocked off...

Hit the county once when i was 19.
Kept my head down and had zero fights, but first day I got lined up by 6 nikkas in my cell.
They wanted me too sleep on top bunk and I wearnt having it at all.

Yea, i been to twin towers and wayside NCCF(LA county)..
shyt wasnt all that bad. nikkas just talk too much about nothin and nikkas play too much. Idk about anywhere else, but in LA you gotta program. Blacks, whites, mexicans, and others gotta know what tables they can eat at, what showers/toilets they can use, who the shot callers are, etc. If you fukk that up you can start a riot and after the riot your race gonna fukk you up.
I dont bang, but they knew the right building to place me in for some reason.(brother from 40's) I ended up in wayside in the crip pod wit some compton crips, 30's, 40's, 60's, woods, and ese's.
bunch of bullshyt fights, but 2 things stuck out:
-this small whiteboy that carried himself like a black G had to get disciplined by the woods and he ended up beating up the 3 that jumped on him. Hoodstaz was on him like cuz, you need to be from the H40D. Loc, you need to turn H60D lol
- some nikka threw boiling hot water on some other nikka face over some street beef. I seen the nikka skin fall right off his face and neck

Because after 2-3 weeks you get used to things and Its just like everyday life. I could understand why people with no families or $$$ do dumb shyt to get locked up....you get 3 hot meals a day & a place to sleep
