Nothing wrong with some 'me time' but you need to read Law 18 of the 48 Laws of Power:
Do Not Build Fortresses to Protect Yourself – Isolation is Dangerous
The world is dangerous and enemies are everywhere— everyone has to protect themselves. A fortress seems the safest. But isolation exposes you to more dangers than it protects you from—it cuts you off from valuable information, it makes you conspicuous and an easy target. Better to circulate among people, find allies and mingle. You are shielded from your enemies by the crowd.
Isolating yourself too much on some "fukk the world" shyt (not saying you OP but speaking in general) is just cutting off your nose to spite your face, more or less.

Most of the people around us are living in the Matrix. To be aware, socially and spiritually, it's difficult not to feel at peace being alone. Oftentimes, it's not even by choice. When conversing with my peers, including those with whom I once had close friendships, I feel as if they're speaking a foreign language.
This. I used to be all about solitude and chilling by myself. But a balance is way better. I don't want to sit around all the time alone like an owlAt certain times.

My office hours are from 9....to 5 :EddieKang2:
Other than that,Voodoo needs his alone time in the garage or layin' down.

I do kinda feel like a lot of people go out of their way to be around other people because they can't stand themselves.
I remember this scene from the lil bit of True Blood I watched, witch was telling the black chick to try and look herself in the eye via mirror for 10 seconds without blinking or looking away.
Can't do that, well... you got some self work to be doing.
