If the Cavs start playing differently then they can come back. All I see right now is a wannabe Warriors team.

He would've made a difference. But here's the thing - we never got to see both teams at full-strength to see how games would've played out. Warriors were the better team all throughout the regular season, so I can't say it was fluke that they won the title that season. There's nothing that points anywhere near conclusively to the Cavs winning if they had Kyrie/Love. The Warriors in the '16 Finals proved to be the better squad when both teams had their normal rotation when they went up 3-1 (this is even with a hobbled Curry). That's the difference.

See above.
You're totally underestimating the fact Curry was a much better player in 2016 than 2015. The entire team was. Also the Warriors were very vulnerable to start that series. Klay was underperforming, Draymond was kinda off to start that series. There was no championship pedigree on that squad. Their best bet was LeBron running out of gas in game 4 and then finally turning it on once it was clear Delly was not built for starter's minutes long term, Shump needed shoulder surgery and JR was was worthless as the 2nd option.

You're also overlooking the fact that regular season LeBron is totally different than playoff LeBron. Especially one with a new coach, new roster and they were still fitting the pieces together. They were figuring it out....then guys got injured.

I've already addressed these points before.

I've repeated myself about 1000x (probably so much I can say literally) about this shyt. I don't really feel like explaining it in detail again.

Go crazy and come back from being down 0-2, to the greatest offense of all time (after doing it last year). Beating a 73 win team with a core that has won a ring, a back to back and the leagues first unanimous MVP, that went out and added the second best player in the world.

I don't know how likely it is now, but if he does it, it'd be hard to top that ever.

He's going to need to play the best basketball of his career to get it done.

Average something like 40/11/9 or something.

This is a very rare opportunity. Word to Lil B

I agree to disagree :manny::hubie:
Here's a thought for you. Let's just say the roles were reversed - I would be using the exact same logic:

Warriors fluke win in 2016 after the 73-win Cavs proved to be the better squad going up 3-1 before a suspension, and injuries to notable players.
67-win, #1 seed Cavs NOT a fluke win in 2015 after playing the Warriors without two of their main options, because we never got to see how the Warriors would've fared if they had those two players, and the Cavs were the best team in the league all season.

They had 2 chances to win with the same roster they had pre Draymond suspension and a "hobbled" Curry.

Curry must have been "hobbled" the first 4 games too and they still went up 3-1.

Difference is it was for a top 3-5 spot, now it's for GOAT.
