i visited my grandparents today, they live on the same street that I grew up on and I see dudes that was the man back in the 90s, now old and broke down wearing 4x phat farm and southpole gear.

I feel guilty sometime, because I was blessed to come from a good home and get an education to escape that fate....

also like survivors guilt , thats why i hustle hard and smart

I dont want to be 33 wearing 3xl enyce, carrying plastic bags while riding a 10 speed huffy

Still visit my old stomping grounds sometimes and i am amazed at how many dudes never got their shyt together.Some of them came back from a drug addiction/jail/multiple BM's/no form of education/just being dumb fukks,some never even had a job for more than a year since the 90's and the old D boys are even worse.Still talking about how they had shyt on lock and drove that 1994 Ac first and how all the bytches would come running..I never wanted to be that dude,stayed on my hustle but never quit school or got caught up in being a hood legend or a cautionary tale for fukk ups.Did my street stuff,got my diploma,got the fukk out and never looked back because everyone I was rolling with felt the same way I did..i will not spend my life being a crab in a small barrel when I can get myself out of it.
