Out here in Cali I could easily pay to go on a fishing charter boat at Pier 39 in San Fran and go out in the Ocean and catch all the Red Snapper I can in a few hours. Only thing stopping me is that sea sickness I get. Caught a few Halibuts in the bay tho.

they stopped calling it red snapper over here, they call it rockfish

They call it Pacific Snapper out here. Asked the butcher why and he said because they can charge the same price for a fish that is essentially the same as a red snapper. I've seen it listed as Pacific Snapper/Rockfish at Pak N Save and it threw me off. It's hard as fukk to find a place that actually cooks red snapper out here in the bay. Fried Fish restaurants are hard to find out here. That JJ's shyt ain't real.

You was probably raised on Catfish so you can't tell the difference. The only fish I was raised on was Snapper so that's probably why I don't like Catfish. I can taste the lake when I eat that shyt. Catfish are scavengers and are the pigs of the lake. They taste like they eat anything too.
