it is heart breaking but also signifies that we are living in a time in which a lot of brothers have nothing to lose. And a man with nothing to lose is powerful and extremely dangerous.

DC is ground zero for depressed, drugged out and/or unemployed black men of all ages. You got elderly black men on the streets begging for spare change or a meal and sleeping on cardboard on sidewalks and random staircases. Then you have these young black males who should be at school/work but instead are just walking through the streets drunk and high with no purpose, no care, and no regard for their futures.

This is not unintentional.

I was at in the laundromat when this young black dude with dreads in his late teens/early 20's wearing all black with a hoodie came inside, sat on the bench and covered his face in his hoodie with his head down and he did this for about an hour before he just got up and left. I was like 'wtf is this dude doing?'

Yeah, a lot of black men are just out here like zombies. When you see them out and walking you can see It's like they're going somewhere, but they're going nowhere.

I see young brothers that look early to mid 20s walking alone or just outside alone doing activities alone. They're usually are unkept. No hair cut, hair looking wild, facial hair look crazy just walking aimlessly with a blank stare like zombies with no where to go.

Around my way I see young brothers (grown men in their 20s) just chilling with themselves. Riding bikes up and down the street popping willies and dude look 25, not some little ass kid enjoying summer off from school. I seen a breh playing soccer on the sidewalk by himself and he had to be 25-30 range.

When I drive around I see more and more black men just alone. To most it might be innocent but what I see is a deeper, darker issue.

Alot of these guys have given up on life because of the pressure this society put on them. Gentrification, economic disfranchisement is causing them to slowly die. They have no place to go.

It kills their social development because now they cant get chicks. well most women up here bounced anyway and u got nothing but fat cave bytches and hood rat single moms and their b*stard kids. These guys end up stagnant with no woman. which means no children. which means no family and they're basically castrated. They have nothing to live for anymore and are just sitting by fading over time.

These guys are losing their minds out here. Its getting rough. The streets are dry. This city got brothers esp in the cobra clutch. One dude almost walked in front of my car at the green light. I looked in his face and that nikka was GONE!!! like totally gone mentally. Face was blank. He got nothing to live for. Hes a zombie basically

But these dudes are going to snap eventually. White society put so much pressure on the black man that he have no choice but to raise hell at this point. Its going to look like birth of a nation one of these days. These brothers are going to smell blood.

No role models and not able to.get close enough to men who can show them a different side of life.

Just today I saw a brother walking up and down my block, sagging like a motherfukker. He was matching too, burgundy draws with some burgundy sneakers. I'm sitting in my car and I see him go by once, then he walks back and passes me again, and then he walks the other way and passes me one more time. I'm like yo what's really good with this nikka? Then I thought to myself and said, yeah he high walking all wobbly and shyt. No aim, no sense of direction, no purpose. Those kind of Black people are food for the white supremacists.

Sad. The ones in my area are either drugged up, mentally ill and/or homeless. I see them on the subway on my way to school or work with air mattresses and other garbarge in bags zoned out or laughing/talking to themselves. I just saw one today like that that looked to be in his early 30s, homeless and mentally ill. He also looked to have slept in the subway overnight (it was an 8am commute). He was on the subway cart sitting to my right. He was either staring into thin air or laughing to himself. The White folks sitting across from him were staring at him in shock. I shook my head and got off on the next stop. You can't help somebody that doesn't want any help.
