Opposite for me, this season was the least funniest. The writers seem to be winging it outside of Sandra's wedding episode.

She'll be back for the first couple episodes to wrap up her storyline, but they probably didn't want to include her in the promotional poster.

Network TV doesn't shoot too far ahead of schedule. It's not like streaming where they're completely wrapped by the time it airs.

They're usually 5-10 episodes ahead of airing, so while we're watching the premiere they're still shooting episode 10 or something.
