Movies/shows from South Africa, Kenya and other places showing the many forms black beauty takes..

Netflix is feeding us our cousins efforts very well.

When I win I bring we with me
:ehh:
I been on the youtube wave of Nigeria, ghana, ethiopia & general 70s African cinema.
.
I like all the "village movies".
To much of the Netflix stuff I've seen revolves around BET+ type melodramatics & gangsterism
.
I do like...
* "up north"
* that wedding movie(can't recall name)
* and a couple other things
.
That said youtube and places like irokotv.com has most of the type content I like.

....
I dabble in them

Some of them are cringey af though

I have to be in the right frame of mind to enjoy one …

Low key Eastern and Northern European, Asian and South Asian movies are just as cheesy and good …

Just Google one and they recommend them after you watched … but have a separate profile for it …
