I think the level of "intervention" is directly related to the value of the invaded country's natural resources.

Yes but the rebel groups aren't US puppets, they are citizens trying to get a foreign power the fukk off their land.

Absolutely not. I see through lies all the time, but I don't automatically step to the side and look a EVERYTHING as a lie.

Be honest.

Everything you know about the government lying about came out AFTER the fact...not as it happened.

So what you're trying to do is predict the next lie and you really are too naive to admit you really and truly don't know.

While none of us likes to be lied to, automatically accepting the opposite doesn't make you more "right" about something.
At this point, the United States goverment is guilty until proven innocent. Looking at them any other way would be truly "naive." I bet you would've been first in line for the Tuskeegee experiments, like, "Come on, guise...don't automatically assume our government is evil just because they've proven it over and over again for two hundred years..."

I'm a full-blown conspiracy theorist nutjob, but I think this whole ISIS thing is propaganda being used to persuade the American people to get behind yet another imperialistic invasion/occupation.
They are very real but they are a old foe that we have all heard of under a new name with American weapons: Al-Queda.

Nope. Very real.

This is what happens when artificial states with arbitrary borders without the say of the people who live there. They fight back. We see in Ukraine, Somalia, Nigeria, Iraq, etc. The more we intervene, the bigger the blowback.
And this is what happens when the CIA and Mossad gets involved and destabilizes the region. That power vacuum :ohlawd:

Not buying it. This is just the US failing at nation building again and again and again.
