The government needs a boogeyman in Iraq to justify our presence there while we're stealing their oil. First it was Saddam in the early 90's (who was cool, until he decided he didn't want to play ball anymore), then again in the early 2000's with "WMD's"...then "Al Qaeda in Iraq" now "ISIS"
