At the beginning of the season I thought that Magic hated Simmons....seems like it's better now.

It seems like Simmons and Jalen are real cool with other. On that live Grantland webcast during the tourney Jalen said "that's my brother"

Really that show has weird chemistry...it's almost like Jalen and Bill are on an entirely different show than Magic and Wilbon

it's really weird...and it's been a really hard watch all year long

the chemistry's never clicked between the four of them

and it's really an awkward mesh of styles to begin with...sad how much better TNT is than that show

Well its because of the dichotomy. Bill was a fan of Jalen back in his formative years and they are roughly the same age and thus more peers in their interaction. Ditto for Magic and Wilbon. Wilbon is a Magic stan and looks at him like a steak dinner everytime they talk. Two different sets of fan/athlete relationships ten years apart. Kick off Wilbon and Magic. Add Stan Van and a host to read the teleprompter....Brian Coachman for instance and voila!

I like his interaction with jalen( I didn't like jalen until him and bill started discussing random pop stuff and throwing in references ) hate his homerism .Wilbon should go he adds literally nothing . Add Stan van gundy and replace magic if he doesn't fit

I remember Simmons shytted on Magic in his book and how terrible Magic was as a TV personality, but now he is on the same set with him! Also, I remember he was talking about how Magic threatened to leave the Lakers if Westhead didn't get fired. So, I can see how Magic don't fukk with him off the set. But, trust me, Simmons ain't the greatest, but give me him over Jon fukking Barry and Chris Broussard.
