knock on wood, I have never experienced getting robbed like that. yeah, had my crib broke into, but never stuck up at gunpoint or knife point or anything like that.
In June of '14
Me and 3 of my boys was at Set it Off, a hood strip joint in North Philly. Its around 11pm.
We leave after about a hour in there, and we walking up the block to go to the papi store. Its a car sitting there double parked halfway up the block. These two young nikkas hop out strapped and point the guns at us and say "dont run". Our instincts kick in and we all scramble. They let off a few but nobody got hit, and them nikkas drove off empty handed.
Luckily my nikkas knew to not stand there cuz we all woulda been layed out on the street.
Its a smart spot to hit a lick tho cuz they do a thoro pat down at the door and you know people leaving the spot are not holding. And its on a dark residential street not much foot traffic late at night. We should not have been in there anyway. None of us is from North and you dont go in another hood without knowing somebody.
Other than that, never been robbed successfully.
One of my aunts got killed a few years back in a home invasion. They came in trying to take her shyt, not knowing she was home.

Never understood the mentality of just robbing a random person and just hoping they had enough cash or valuables to make it worthwhile. Then what if dude you walk up on just happens to whip that ass and kill you?

when I was younger and ipods were poppin...2 older dudes (probably like 18-19) came up to me and said to run the ipod...had my headphones on, so I took them off, and asked them to repeat it again 
... then after they demanded it again, not sure why, but I said something like "hold on this my favorite song" ....that threw em off and they crossed the street 
then 1 started walking back towards me, and the other started yellng at him "come back...the gods telling u to come back" 
somehow escaped that situation

I been robbed at gun point. It happened when I was about 20. Me and my homeboys were leaving the club and wanted to grab some weed. We used to sell but didn't have any on us so we stopped at a weed spot we knew. nikkas wasn't out where they normally were so we went around the corner and some young nikkas out who we thought had some. My boy parked around the corner and said he'd be right back. We were waiting in the car for 5 minutes and we knew something wasn't right so we got out the car to check on it and when we did two of the young nikkas came around and pointed guns at us. Had us empty out our pockets and shyt. Noticed that my boy who was copping was being held up too.

a ex friend of mine got robbed along with 3 other people..it was 4 of them at 1st, and they was just smokin in a parked car & the gun man walked up, said whats up to them and told the passenger to get out the car cause he had to talk to'em right quick..he walked him down the block,then came back, upped his pistol and told the rest of them to give him everything they had..they complied except for my ex friend because he really didnt have anything, dude didnt believe him & told him to take his pants off, he did, dude checked the pants, dropped them on the ground , made all of'em get out the car & told them to run..my ex friend picked up his pants but before he could put them on dude backed up & started shooting in the air, so he ran off in his boxers along with everybody else

One of my brehs got robbed over on Madison here, he got off the Rapid at like 1 in the morning, and the took him for 2 weeks worth of tips, his phone, and his bookbag.
Another one of my friends got held up on E 55th here, and they took his wallet, keys and shoes

One of my ex coworkers best friend''s wife got robbed back when the 4th Gen I phones had came out through a Craigslist ad. She was pregnant at the time and met the guy at a Walmart parking lot...he pulled the pistol out instead of a phone and she emptied them pockets instead of getting him a early Christmas gift
