fuuuuuuuck i forgot about auto auctions. thats where you get the steals, unless your bumpin heads with dealers. but yea, I've been to ones in the hood where people mostly wants caddys, trucks (suvs) and longer like regals, ss impalas, and such but there would be some jap cars, like honda civics, mitsubishi eclipse, toyota celicas, etc that would be going for like 1300 because nikkas wasnt tryin to roll in those.
everyone talkin about take a mechanic.
how do you go about that? just call up an auto repair shop n tell em "yo im about to look at some cars off craigslist who down to roll" I dont see how thats feasible for your average joe.
I believe this is one of those things, where you need to know somebody in the loop, who is a mechanic or if your familiar with someone be like "Ima check out this whip, i'll give you a $20 spot if you roll with me and give it a mini-inspection on the spot when your not working"
I guess I never had to worry, cause my nikka worked at honda, so i'd roll with him and he would be in the work uniform and people wouldnt be so chatty. I had a nikka slam the hood and tell us to leave a car lot.
The car was running and my boy poked his head into the hood, and reached into a place you cant really see, and was feelin around and found a place where oil was leakin, and was like, you got an oil leak, dude was like like I just replaced the head, its probably just run off, my boy wiped it and we talked for about 10 mins and he checked again and it had gotten wet with oil again. So he was like nah, theres a leak. Dude slammed the hood, almost closed my boys hand in there, reached through the window and snatched the keys out we were like
