oh! and that verse Teketha dropped on Pump Your Fist.

Only other place I remember her rapping was on Bobby Digital, which came out that same year. Maybe they was gonna start pushing her......

There were more albums going plat than other eras, but it was hardly a case of everybody that dropped an album going platinum and gold. Of all the rap albums that came out in 98...at least 100 maybe?...there probably weren't even more than a dozen or so that went plat
it was the "platinum era" breh :manny:

i'm not saying that every single release of that time went platinum...but its known as the plat era because cats were selling big

Wu should have done a whole album with this this type of production....they hooked Cappadonna up with this action movie sounding heat:banderas:

When you check the production, you find out that the high energy tracks with the same sound as the "Pillage", like "Everything is Everything" and "Black Boy" were produced by someone name Goldfingaz, The Pillage - Wikipedia.

What happened to Goldfingaz?? Was he part of additional Wu projects, cause I can't recall off hand this type of sound later? :lupe:

Inspectah Deck's debut album, which came out in '99 or 2000 could have used a boost from this high energy production.
