What about contacts?
Are you asking me can I see without them?
LOL. If I can't see w/o my perscription period. I don't wear contacts very often, only once in a while.

If you're asking about the risks of getting them, I don't think there are many. Just don't go to sleep in them (unless you have the kind that you can sleep in) and make sure that you keep them clean, you don't want to get an infection or eye parisites. Sometimes they get dry in your eyes too, put you can just take them out ant clean them or get eye drops. I have a very difficult time with putting them in and taking them out, so that's why I stick with my glasses.

Maybe you should watch the video that I posted.
sorry dont have my glasses :troll:
You should watch it after you find them then.
There are side affects and possible complications with lasik. Also, most people will still need glasses years after the surgery.

How long has it been since the procedure

Was there pain after? How long was the procedure? What was on your do not do list after the surgery? And for how long? Is 2k the standard rate? I need to do this and any help is appreciated :mjcry:

:lupe: :lupe:

i thought it was 2 gs per eye?

its 2 gs for both eyes?

and why the fluk doesnt insurance cover this?

I can't remember the exact price honestly. I know it was $2000 something...I think it was on the high side closer to $3000. I got a good deal through my job's vision insurance. It was back in 2007. I've had zero problems.

They prep you with anaesthetic first. The surgery itself only took like 10-15 minutes. The doctor sat there with his assistant and talked about HBO shows and random shyt while he did it like it was child's play. They put a mask on me told me to go to sleep for a few hours when I got home and I did. I woke up and could see like an eagle. There was no pain.

Now you will have to take a TON of eyedrops for the next few weeks, some for a few months. I was taking like 4 or 5 different eyedrops around the clock. One of them is required every hour.

My sister had it and said it wasn't too bad. It's a bytch those first two days though. The only DEALBREAKER is the fact that it is not guaranteed to last, so you can spend that $$$ on the surgery and a few years later still might need glasses again cuz your eyes went back to shyt.

There is no guarantee. Your vision could be back to shyt the next year.

I've read that the part that they cut never completely closes and there is a possiblility of your vision being ruined. I'll stick with my glasses

All of my eye doctors who have poor vision wear glasses or contacts.

I just watched that video to get a better look at the pawg in the red dress. :shaq:

Had the volume off. :lolbron: Who cares what Dr. Oz has to say.

I need to look into it. I think I'm right around the age where they will consider doing it. I'm 26. My mom had it done a few years ago and had no issues. I think it's pretty reasonable and I'm tired of wearing my glasses. I'm too lazy to wear contacts every day.

Keeping up with contacts and glasses is getting to be an annoyance.
