Some times older people (21+) be dumb as fukk or too emotionally invested to see the truth.
I remember getting into a heated argument with an ex over the phone during a thanksgiving get together over my aunt's house, I'm arguing, she's calling me shyt, I'm calling her all kinda bytches and hoes etc...
I hang up the phone on that hoe. And turn around and my little cousin just looking at me, like wtf(she had come down stairs to get me because dinner was fixing to start) I'm like 21 or 22 at the time, so she kinda of looked up to me.
And the first thing she says is "I wouldn't talk to my boyfriend like that" Implying that, since I like this girl so much, why am I talking to her that way.
I just laugh like "sometimes that's how couples do"
then she says some shyt like "You shouldn't be girlfriend and boyfriend then"
I passed it off and ain't think about it.
But you know what, HELL NAWL we shouldn't have been together. bytch was crazy, I was p*ssy whipped, etc...

Knew a cat whose girl caught him cheating and responded by cheating. Dude didn't drop her, but spun that ish into an open relationship for a while...I don't know how to even categorize that one.
