Right after the virgin dude went on that killing spree. A white guy I went to college with went on a FB rant about how it was "white bishes" fault for chasing after blacks and mexicans instead of "hard working white men". This was the first I had even heard of the story. I just went and unfriended his azz right then. I wasn't super cool with dude, but I liked him more than most of the people I knew in college. We were on some hippie sh"t back then (well they were, I liked the herb and the topless women running around in the woods but I stayed with my WTC cassette in my walkman). Sh"t fukced my head up a lil sumn. Dude reminded me of Johnny Depp. All spaced out like him too.

It's a part of life. I'm half black half cac so I've got friends in different circles and of different races.

I know exactly which white friends I can bring around my black & hispanic friends if they don't know them already. A few in particular I know for a fact I can't but we've been friends since kids so it'd be weak to dump em at this point. Anyone would say "just stop being friends with em" but its a bit more complicated in my mind.

Some of my white friends just have a completely skewed idea of what's ok to joke around about at what time. There's no concept of "time & place", and thats not limited to interacting with other races, that can be life in general. I'm too old to apologize for another man when he doesn't recognize he's wrong. So if I can't trust them to recognize when they've crossed a line with another circle of my friends, I don't bring em around again or I cut em loose.

Bottom line is I dont think a good portion of whites have awareness or understanding when it comes to other races, and I'm not gonna drive myself crazy trying to make everybody be friends with everybody else.
