YOLO, young brother... fukk it.
I've done it twice; once, I moved to Columbus, another time I moved to Durham. I had extended family members in both spots, though, so at the very least when I ran into problems I knew I had a little safety net. Both times I moved with very little money though and I just made it work. I had to take pretty much ANY jobs I could get at the beginning though; those first few months are hard but if you're willing to grind and save your money you'll be okay.
Unfortunately for me I've regressed over the years though, as far as jobwise.
On the positive side, you pretty much get to reinvent yourself. You can move to a new city and literally just be anybody you want to be, create a whole new reputation, make all new first impressions. Hell, when I moved to Columbus I just made a fukking nickname for myself and went by that.
On the negative side, if you have friends in your current city, you WILL miss them when you move. Even people you don't really think about and take for granted, you WILL miss when you move. You'll also miss your favorite bar, pizza spot, whatever.
The main negative though is, and maybe this is just me, but you'll regret not doing/seeing everything that your previous city had to offer. After leaving Ohio (and believe me, I was happy as hell to leave) I kinda regretted not doing random shyt like checking out the Pro Football Hall of Fame or going to Cedar Pointe, shyt like that that never actually crossed my mind while I was there.

i know that feeling, i think about it almost 24/7
i think life is just one big gamble....trying too plan and control things never worked for me....i just gotta roll the dice and sink or swim
You also better not go anywhere on a high horse. Take ANY job...IMMEDIATELY. This is not only to bring money in your pocket, but to start getting to know some people in mutual settings.
That's what I did and slowly moved up on my own. It was very rewarding and IMO something I will do all over again even with the negatives that came along the way at times.
ive thought of doing this before. would be by myself and since most my fam is in the area, wont have much help elsewhere. having lots saved up is vital tho and my company is all over the country so transferring shouldnt be an issue. only issue i have is the cold weather. we dont really get along. i could move a few hours north but it wont make much of a difference. only other option of nice weather is south cali and that cost of living is hella expensive, maybe moving to a different country might be something to consider.

Theres no reason why you cant. If you're in shape you can find a bytch to sponsor you bruh. I was staying with this lesbian for 2 years and she was real good to me. p*ssy was good and it took her 2 years to get tired of me freeloading. By that time i had my certifications and i was Gone and off to the next mission.
