Anybody ever let their wisdom teeth come in without getting them removed?

I had to get one of my teeth extracted a couple of years (one of my back teeth) and I joked with the dentist at the time that when my wisdom teeth came in, that would replace it.

I was just joking but it seems like it's happening. Anybody ever had any experience with just letting their wisdom teeth come in? I feel like dentists push you to get them removed cause it's mo work mo money for them.

But if it ain't gon be no problem, I'm cool with letting them come in. Shoot, if it IS a problem, I'm cool with letting them come in. It's not causing any pain right now but in the event that it does, I'm cool with taking some tylenol or some other pain reliever and letting my mouth do what it do (pause )

Still have em and will probably never have them removed. Every now and then get a slight ache but i'm good.​

Mine were going to mess up my dental work from braces, so I had to go to an oral surgeon and get them removed.

That has been over 20 years ago. I remember I was miserable for about a week.

How long did it take?

For them to grow in? Don’t remember. But the dentist took her X-rays and said they weren’t impacted or causing any crowding, so surgery wasn’t necessary. Mine fit so perfectly, it’s wild to me so many people don’t have the space to accommodate them.

Still got mine. Dentist told me I'd have to get rid of them back when I was a teenager, but I rolled the dice and now there's no issue. I can tell the dental assistant hates trying to clean them though. Lol.

personally i took mine out cause one was impacted and i disliked the asymmetry, dental pliers are inexpensive and really easy to use if you know the right techniques, my teeth always come out sooo smooth

in reality it was probably just normal aging/maturation They ached for a few weeks and then went away
