Anybody ever lose their hearing? Or have ear issues

I used to have 1 good ear, my other ear had 5-10% hearing since childhood (from a bad surgery).
This morning woke up to a strange muffled silence

Anybody else?

I did. It's degenerative hearing loss. Nothing they can do about it they said.

Man I feel for you OP. Sorry brother. My grandfather has been hard of hearing all his life…he finally got a hearing aid at age 80

Me too. Better than average hearing. Two kinds of tinitus in one ear.

its rough. i've got a degenerative hearing condition in one ear and tinnitus rolling steady in both too.

some days, especially when air pressure changes rapidly, its real bad i'll probably be legally deaf within 5 years or so
