Anybody F*ck with that Ip Man Final Fight?

Just watched this joint, it was pretty fukking decent, wasn't better than Grandmaster(Ip Man 2) or the original Ip Man, but it completes the series, so I fukk with it. Only thing is I wish the would have explored more side to Ip Man in the growing Chinese life in the 1940s-60s, but it a movie only so much you can explore in 120 minutes. Overall to complete the series I give it a 7.5/10, as a stand alone it drops to 5.5/10.

IP Man 3 was horrible turned it off during the movie couldn't get into it seriously. IP 1 and 2 were awesome but this one seem too rushed together.

Ip Man 3 hasn't came out yet? Are you refering to The Legend is Born: Ip Man that came out in 2010 or Ip Man: Tthe Final Fight which came out in March 2013? The Final Fight wasn't that bad....

Oh ok I guss I finish watching it again since you guys said it was good. I just couldn't get into it because it was kind of boring. Left off at the part when him and the older guy were battling in the room with the people sneaking watching.

First 2 are untouchable, 3rd one is all right and a good way to show how he started.

The two series' have nothing to do with each other. The Legend is Born and The Final Fight are from Herman Yau with Ip Man 1/2 (and 3 soon to come this year) by Wilson Yip and almost as importantly, fight choreography by Sammo Hung.

I only fukk with the first Ip Man (classic) and The Grandmaster, although that has more to do with my appreciation for Wong Kar Wai's work.

I really want to like Ip Man 2 as well but I just can't get past the fact it's Rocky IV.

It's a prequel about the evil Japanese smuggling Japanese babies into China to infiltrate their culture twenty years in advance of WWII. I wish that was a joke, but it isn't.
