No contest. My mom has my grandma's old records as well as the stuff she collected herself in the 60's-70's. My dad was a DJ. I grew up on vinyl and the sound is just......:blessed:....even with minor scratches.

FYI discogs.com is the cheapest place to get hip-hop vinyl

Actually Bestbuy.com is. You can find tons of Hip Hop albums for really cheap, believe it or not. I got The Blueprint for 14.99.

Discogs is great for rare vinyl but I wouldn't call it the cheapest place. Been cracked there for a few hundred bucks

I wanted to buy vinyl so bad when I went to Amoeba Music on Haight :sadcam:

I was scared I'd break them flying back to Winnipeg though.

Not in the actual store but online. I don't know what happened but their selection is crazy and cheap. If you order enough the shipping is free too so that's dope.

Black Moon "Enta Da Stage' for 8.99, 36 Chambers for 12.99, and Low End Theory for 14.99? Can't really fukk with that.

LOL @ buying records at bestbuy. bestbuy doesn't sell used records.

support your local record store.

Nothing funny about it Hipster.
