I'm not gonna lie. I tried on of those dollar steaks on a whim. I mean if you're looking for steak and eggs on a budget it's ok. But it's not nearly as bad as people are trying to make it. Here is the thing though the color has to be dark pink/purple other than that don't bother because of the water in them they freezer burn very easily.

Dollar tree does pretty good at keeping all of their stores pretty uniform but I will say some stores have some extras that wouldn’t find at others .

Its that fastfood type steak they used in those type of dishes, not something you grill an eat with a baked potato.
