I see the Samsung HW-Q990F and I can get it with the rear sound bar for like $1000-1100 which is normally like $1500 elsewhere else but do I really need that expensive of a sound bar? :yeshrug:

I got the Sonos Arc and use two Sonos Era 300s as surrounds and their Gen 3 sub.

That sub packs an incredible punch and has my whole mancave rumbling.

I’m like my choice of Sonos other than they run everything through their proprietary app.

I’ve heard via YouTube reviewers I follow the Sony Bravia Theater Quads paired with Sony’s biggest sub is impressive for a plug and play system too.

Both are impressive plug and play systems.

If you want an AV receiver HT set up that’s a whole other conversation.

I got a sound bar years ago but 1k sounds crazy !! I mean if the sub is really knocking and the sound is crisp then i guess go for it. I paid 100 for mine on sale but its only for my bedroom. Now im curious on how the more expensive ones sound. If ima pay that much the bass has got to shake my damn room. I need to feel every thump in every movie.

cheap shyt around 300 will get the job done too as long as the reviews match ... depending on sub placement etc

I only say this because you are asking do you need that expensive of a soundbar. You can grab a 5.1 system from a decent brand for cheap and have surround and the sub. I have to cut the bass from the sub off my phone when my girl takes over because she will have my shyt blown in no time

Got my 77 LG G4 paired with the Samsung Q990D :ohlawd: Did a thorough review on both. Watch the race scene on Ready Player One and you’d agree

The only issue I have is periodically the sound bar just disconnects from the TV and it’s a pain to reconnect since all my wires including my media box is in the wall.

I guess if you’re really into movies. I have a small room though and I don’t wanna deal with the wires and hanging speakers on the wall
All content is improved by better sound unless you watch bootleg movies all day. Modern cable management is easy. If the room is small, even easier.
