I just got the Windows 8x 16 gb phone for extra cheap. Last few phones I've had were Droids, how big of a change am I looking at? I've already heard the apps are lacking compared to Android and Apple, but only apps I really need are for my fantasy sports and shyt like that.

Anybody got or had one of these things that can give me some info?

its great man. Great change if you are bored of IOS and android. You better get used to not being able to customize your phone the way you want to though because that's one of the drawbacks of WP8. It is extremely limited when it comes to customization.

not sure about fantasy sports, but whatever I want to do you can find an app for it. Even torrent apps for the pirates out there

upgrade to grd3 or whatever its called, its a dev preview but you can do it free, it adds rotation lock and a few other lol things

as far as the is, make sure you sign into Facebook from the accounts and email setting in the settings, once you do that link the contacts that you have on your phone with their Facebook accounts , and also go you your contact settings and filter them so all your fb frineds won't show up

pin shyt that is important to you, you can resize the tiles, and some apps you can pin things from inside of it so that it will go straight there when you click the tile for example I have Kendrick Lamar radio lined from Pandora, so I just hit the tile it it loads the station straight up...also Pandora is ad free on WP I think for like a year but idk

Yup, I pinned some of my favorite playlists, Locations of various places i travel regularly, important people, as well as specific apps. Makes it very smooth and efficient to quick launch items.

That's what happens when you use it 3x less cuz it's :trash:

I do use it less and that is partly the reason
I tried going back to my prior android and it was hard
I'm at the point where I care more about it not dying on me and carrying chargers than ram and memory and other pointless shyt

Android fans think its "normal" to have a phone with 6 hours of battery life, and 3 spare batteries in their back pocket.

Some times there is a thing as "too much".

Windows phone has Nokia Music which is BETTER than Pandora.
It does the same thing, has the same "you create a station" option
But the difference is you can create a station, then download the playlist to listen to OFFLINE :wow:
HereDrive is nokia's GPS app, its better than google maps, and you can download maps to use the GPS offline :wow: If you don't have it hooked up yet (service) you can still do the things I just mentioned.

This info is more for the thread starter, I forgot I wasn't replying to him directly :manny:

Yo I'm gonna look for that Nokia Music if you can save songs and shyt off that. I don't have it hooked up yet but got it setup on wifi, so I can download that app(or maybe it's already on the phone idk) and do all that without it being activated yet?

And @CarolinaKing that Nokia music download thing I mentioned?
It will download like 20songs, and those twenty songs will take up a fraction of the space you'd think it does
I'm talking crazy small like 5mb for all twenty :blessed: I just blamed it on the clouds and kept it movin

Also from nokia music or xbox music (forgot which one, but I think its nokia) if you just hit the play button when your over your music, it plays all your music on random. But in the settings you have the option for it to add similar songs to play from THERE collection as well as yours. Basically fusing your personal collection with there's.
So you get the best of both worlds at the same time :whew:

Yes and Yes :win: And its stock (already on your phone bruh)
