Gotta get it done this Friday, recovery looks like hell with nasal rinses, congestion, and nasal drip. Been dealing with sinus issues forever along with allergies and slight headaches. Hoping this helps alleviate those issues. Took almost 3 weeks off work to recover. Sucks as there is no bending over or lifting anything over 10lbs. for atleast a week or 2. I've been in the gym 6 days a week doing cardio and weights, gonna be limited to walking on a treadmill for atleast 2 weeks. :mjcry:

December 2020 for me. They acted like I was gonna need all this recovery time for pain but it didn’t hurt leaving the hospital or afterwards at all.

Use the cotton swabs. There will be blood but you’ll be fine. They’ll prescribe Percocet. I didn’t need it.

Good luck. Go Cavs.

Appreciate the info. I will make sure I’m stockpiled with swabs and tissue. Were you breathing better afterwards?

Another season getting started for the Cavs, looking forward.

Just got it myself.
Can't wait for the stubs/whatever you call the parts stuck inside the nose removed.

I had the packing removed the day after surgery, much better breathing after that. The stints that you mentioned were removed after 3 days. You will still get some nasal bleeding and have internal swelling. Had to sleep in a recliner for week to stay elevated. Was back and forth to the doc for scheduled visits to get cleaned out and checked. Week 2 should have you feeling better.

If you don’t have it get some nasal rinse packets with distilled water, will help tremendously. I couldn’t blow my nose for a little over a month otherwise it would bleed. The healing takes time, up to 4-6 months but has been well worth it.

My doctor told me I could get it if I wanted it, but I’m not because it doesn’t solve the issue long-term.

My friend got it a couple years ago and now she’s having issues again

Thanks mayne.
I'm 8 days in.
Got some bloody mucus, food is a bit bitter and sleeping on my back is annoying, but everything is way better day by day.
