Anybody here actually use contactless payment on their debit card?

My Larrydroid doesn't have the NFC feature so I can't use my phone to pay for my stuff

I just use Google Pay on my phone with My credit card on it. I get cash back and I use it everywhere possible.

When I see people sticking their chip in (n/h ) and press their pin, I hit the

It's quicker , not sure if it's safer but either way I use my Amex Gold card for everything. Safe or not I'm protected from BS charges

I use the applepay function on my watch for things that I pay in person 99% of the time these days. Gas and ATM transactions too

Yeah... I have a credit card but only use it for 1 or 2 purchases a month. I'm still on my first credit card and have gotten offers for better ones with no monthly fee (gotta pay 8 dollars a month for my current credit card). My credit score is 722.


I only get paid once a month so its easier for me to just use my debit card for most of my purchases. I'm scared of credit cards and debt so I try to avoid them.

I understand. I was the same way for a bit when I had my first card, until i realized that I didn't like the holds some places put on your card when you buy stuff on. I rather have the holds on a credit card as it isn't "my money".

Of course there is all the ways you can get rewards using credit cards responsibly.

I’m using my i11Pro from 2019…Droid stans told me Apple was always late on technology.

Walmart has it through their app. Just scan that QR code thats on the screen at the register and it connects to your WM account with a saved card. Its also saves all your receipts to your account and doesn't print out a paper one. If you need to return you can do all through the app.

If you pay for Walmart Plus, you can actually scan and pay from your app without going to the cash register and just walk out.
Sams Club has the same feature but it comes with the membership. I haven't had to checkout at Sam's for about 3 years now, just scan and go.
