How do you all cope with the 24/7 urge to go to sleep?

I take iron pills but its still hard to stay motivated when after you take a nap to recharge, 5 minutes later you go " man i'm tired. i better take a nap"
:why:
Any advice?

was just hit with this yesterday

was legit at a loss, the hospital actually told me "if you leave, you could die"

I left.
I suppose it depends on how bad it is. I had it as a kid and had no symptoms whatsoever . There are varying degrees of anemia

I did iron pills for like a month, then decided I'm good. And I've been good for several decades.

Personally I think it's just worse for women because they're bleeding constantly. When the doctor told me about it as a kid they were giving me all these crazy worst case projections like I would need blood transfusions or surgery or crazy diet changes. I was like :camby:

Years later, it dawned on me that a lot of these doctors have kickbacks and referral incentives between each other which incentivize them to give you the worst case scenario so their buddy in a different specialty gets to eat. I have a similar theory about dentists and their relation to perio/Ortho/Endo-dontists but that's a different convo :mjpls:

Word of advice if you haven't already, might want to see a rheumatologist if you can. Anemia can be a byproduct of a lot of autoimmune diseases and gets overlooked a lot if you don't fit the "profile".
