I don't have a passion for anything and my dream(solving hunger and homelessness in countries and areas with poverty) is not realistically achievable.

So life is whatever to me, but I still have fun with it:yeshrug:

Maybe try and work for a non profit that helps. That could give you work experience which may lead to an idea for a product or additional service that could further help.

@Pigeon I was being serious about the Buddhist temple stuff but I'd also suggest putting pen to paper if you dont yet already. Whatever it may be. A journal, song lyrics, a biography, a children's story, a book, philosophical treatise etc. Any ideas you've had while sitting in the park and letting your mind wander. Try and organize them in a sensible matter. I promise you that additional things will follow from there. Even if it's a series of small poems that you come up with every day at the park with an adjoining picture from that particular day and published

Nikkas with career jobs are lucky, you have something to kill eight or nine hours five days a week and you well paid for it. I'd trade my current life to have a Diesel Mechanic career in a heartbeat.

Now I see why retired people get jobs at Walmart as greeters and such, life is boring! Then again I can't socialize so I doubt many ppl will see my POV, I haven't worked in close to a decade (I have an income so I don't need to work)
I don’t know your situation but if you haven’t worked in years or done anything substantial of course you’re gonna get bored of life!

Set goals and achieve them! Write a book, read one, use your creative juices and create something!

Start streaming video games or share your thoughts and opinions with the world.

Why’s it not realistically achievable?

I just want to find a way to get 4 day working weeks three days off. This two days off is not enough. Work definitely helps in regards to self esteem, getting you out of the house etc but it also ruins your energy and creativity levels

But yeah I'm tired as well, pandemic hasn't helped.. Maybe it's just getting older, idk. Best wishes though

Nope, don't have this thought at all but we live very different lives.

Need a good hobby. Go make watches or go outside or go take a trip!

Not the Coli's resident pigeon y'all :mjcry:

Definitely find some new hobbies. Take an interest in learning more about some topic and investigate it even if it's outside your comfort zone. Make an adventure out of your life breh. :blessed:

The fact that…..

-a pigeon made this thread out of depression and boredom
-your response is somewhat suggesting for him to loosen up
-your avi having a pigeon swagged out

is fukking hilarious

When I was a young man I dove into strange puzzy with gusto

Now. I think it would be fun but I am not willing to do all the necessary bullshytting and dream selling.

Or worse, just scoop up a chick that's easy as pie to spread.

I'd like an attractive, demure and sane love interest.. but in the past several years exactly zero (that I have had any sort of shot at) have come into my bubble.

Meanwhile past few years have been spent on a woman I like a lot, but one who doesn't give the amount of time I would like. Supposedly she's incredibly busy with job and single motherhood... which I stay out of completely... which is why she prolly doesn't rush to cater to me.

It's a mess but every time I break up with her I just wait for her come back in a few months. I've basically surrendered. Better some timey love thang than none I guess.

I yearn for that young love again. Where's its so easy. You just grab onto each other and refuse to let go. You just want each other no matter what else happens.

Without that in my life it does seem bleak.

But it does pick up steam like a mf for a couple of months here and there too. The prior two months I was seeing her 2-3 times a week. I soaked it up but it was bittersweet cause I knew it was just a season. Followed by a season of scarcity which she has left me in for the past few weeks.

Life is about knowing yourself, learning what you love, like & hate. Then spend all your time doing & striving for what you love/like

Isn't it... sort of arrogant to be complaining about boredom? In a world with so much pain and suffering and strife?

Like, if you really wanted something to do, you could find it.
