Bible has been translated I believe from Hebrew to Greek, etc. Only time it's altered is orally from cherry picking hypocrites and deceiving preachers/pastors.

Either you will have faith to believe or not. God doesn’t have to prove anything to anyone. You either accept the whole word as it is written or don’t believe any of it...there is no in between. If you don’t want to exercise faith to believe , then don’t.

I've heard it can be via intuition/epiphany/"inner voice", dream, or an event/chapter in your life.

If you're serious or ever do become serious, just be patient.

It's easy to be athiest or agnostic. Give it a try, the only admission is patience.

Well as long as you outline why you do these things and be more specific about what falls under "lust" and "discipline" then u should be good 2 go...I don't wanna see a month from now another thread like "I was like last night" or something...

Quitting vices and lust. A good old friend of mine, I chilled with him two days ago. We usually smoke and with others present.

It was just us and he told me he quit it all. Decided to live right. Ever since he has been reading the Bible and quit all vices.

He's lost many friends due to dropping vices and has vivid crazy dreams where he's constantly being tempted to go back to that lifestyle.

He told me he has never been happier. He said look breh I'm not perfect, I still have thoughts. We joked how he chose the hardest season with all these girls barely wearing nothing.

He's talking to a girl currently, he said he just gonna look for a good woman. I told him that's gonna be hardest due to our age group and how girls always got mad options.

So far he said he's been on this path for over a month.

Glad to hear that he's done such a thing. It's a very difficult path and can be a lonely one but will be worth it in the end.

Lol yeah. I will start working out with my breh and some of his friends. I have several books on music like piano chords and shyt. So I'll be occupied.
